YWCA Calgary is proud to present the 14th annual YWCA WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES presented by Shoppers Drug Mart.
The light-hearted event addresses a serious issue which impacts far too many families in our community – domestic abuse.
Join Roger and Robyn from the Odd Squad on Sunday, September 15, 2019 as more than 250 women and men step up and walk to support women and children fleeing family violence. This highly-anticipated event raises funds for YWCA programs and services which support women to live healthy lives and thrive in their community. This donation based event has no registration fee. Only participants who have fundraised prior to the event are eligible to walk.
7 out of 10 people who experience family violence are women and girls. Look around, it could be someone you know. Challenge your colleagues, friends and family to step up and break the cycle of violence for women and their children.
