Greece is in turmoil again and world stock markets take a dive. Democracy no longer seems the shining beacon of hope and prosperity it once was purported to be.

In democracy's birthplace, the chance of taking a lifestyle step backward is not being well received and again the government is in shambles. No No No the Greeks shout when informed they could no longer burden their off spring with the debt required to finance their lifestyle.

And of course, there's always a political candidate ready to say anything to be elected and an electorate willing to vote for the notion that inconvenience can be off loaded to the future.

The crunch is coming 1rst world. There's no political will to tough it out and me wonders if we the people are strong enough to pay the piper.
