I know every time you turn around you hear someone like me complaining about the price of gas...well that's because every time you turn around gas is going up. I wouldn't be surprised if the price went up as I was filling my tank last week! What is going on?
Here's one that makes me laugh...both governments in the United States and Canada are saying "we must do something about the fuels prices, your government is sympathetic, we must do something to help the people". So it was suggested that the government lower the fuel tax. Reduce the amount of money that the Government gouges from the price at the pump. Well of course the governments immediate response was a flat out NO! Of course, it's all about the people until big guys on the hill don't get their cut of the big dough.

That legendary bar that could tell a million stories, is back! After the original Cowboys fell to a wrecking ball it is returning at 1088 Olympic way SE. on May 2. Everyone from the person sitting next to you to Prince Harry have stories about the famed Honkey Tonk, and I would love for you to share them with me. Next week we are doing the show from the New Cowboys for their grand opening May 2, and I am going to be reading some of your e-mails on the air...(I realize I may have to censor some of them!)

I've never thought of myself to be a very Superstitious person, until now. I blame it on Hockey. With the Flames in the playoffs, whenever they win I think back to what I did that day or during that game and make sure I do the same thing the next game. For example, did I wear a jersey during their last win?? Yes, so then I wear it for the next game...I remember one year they won a playoff game that I didn't get to watch...so the next game I didn't watch on purpose, and they won that game too! Yeah it was great for them but I didn't get to watch my team for over a week during the playoffs!!
I want the Flames to win, but sooner or later I'm going to have to change my lucky underwear...Go Flames Go!
