Country music fans that were sad the Flames were out of the playoffs perked up a bit when the stars came out for the Predators series. Nashville showed up this year and so did their fans! Just watching the energy from Bridgestone Arena was exciting enough for anyone. They may not have the cup, but they have a pretty incredible legacy of support from some massive country music stars!
Rounding out the all-star anthem singer line-up last night, for their final game was Mrs. Faith Hill.
Dierks Bentley was one of the many that weren’t too happy with the refs last night. He took his turn singing the anthem on June 5th.
Martina McBride belted it out before a game, and even got to meet the Great One!
Trisha Yearwood not only brought her hubby along for support, but she even jumped into some skates herself!
Kelly Clarkson is starting ’em early, bringing along the little ones to watch mom sing the anthem.
Keith Urban and his bride, Nicole Kidman, have been diehards this season. Keith says Nic is usually the first one in the car, ready to go.
Lady Antebellum harmonized their way through the anthem before game 6 of the St. Louis series.
Vince Gill brought his daughters to help dad out.
Little Big Town got in on the action early on in the run.
Luke Bryan has shown huge support for the team. He turned up for a ton of games and even sang from the roof of Tootsie’s to get the crowd fired up last night!
Last, but not least (and actually the first to sing the anthem), Mrs. Carrie Underwood. She’s yet to comment on the loss of the cup, but showed MASSIVE support for the team (and her hubby Mike Fisher) throughout the entire run.
What an entertaining run! Let’s hope for a Flames/Preds final next year.
