Terry and Anna are a couple from Australia with a very cool engagement story. For their one-year anniversary in 2015, Terry made Anna a necklace out of a wood native to Tasmania. She loved it and proceeded to wear it every day and everywhere they went. Little did Anna know, but Terry had hidden an engagement ring inside the necklace. So for a year and a half, Anna wore that necklace almost every day without knowing what was inside. Terry finally popped the question during a trip to northern Scotland in November 2016.
Just before the proposal, Terry asked Anna for the necklace, telling her he was going to take a nice photo of it propped up on some rocks.
… He secretly broke the seal on the necklace to reveal the ring, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and then flipped out a bit. She told Terry: “Wait, it’s been in there the entire time?! I could have lost it, you (bleeping) idiot!”
