Well this episode was intense…and gory! Note to self, don’t watch The Walking Dead when you have a hangover, it only makes you queasier!
I was going to post a picture of Patrick the Walker eating the sleeping guy in the cell block, but it was really gross, so here’s a picture of Darryl instead.
Anyway, to back track a bit, Patrick gets sick, has a shower, passes out, dies and wakes up dead. So now there’s a walker on the lose in the middle of the night in the prison. He wanders into a cell block, bites sleeping guy, sleeping guy then turns into a walker and well, it just becomes a big mess! Also, when sleeping guy gets up as a walker, all his insides fell out. So if you haven’t watched yet, get ready to be grossed out. I’m still making my “grossed out face” as we speak.
Carol. I like Carol. Her character has really grown a lot throughout this show. She went from meek, abused wife who then loses a child, to bad ass zombie fighter raising a small child army! Wait, what?! Yep, I said it. She’s gotten really tough…teaching the children in the camp how to protect themselves. Calling the cry babies weak. Intense Carol, very intense. But just wait, by the end of this season there’s going to be an army full of child soldiers and things are going to get crazy. Also, she and Darryl hurry up and hook up already!!
Next, let’s talk about Michone. Her character had changed a lot also. She was always the tough introvert. She’s still tough, but I’m enjoying the friendlier side of Michone. But what was up with her reaction to holding baby Judith? There’s a back story there and I want to know about it NOW!!
So there’s all this death and fighting and sickness going on (which I’ll get to next), and the saddest part of the whole show for me was when Rick fed the pigs to the walkers. Yes it was a brilliant plan to get them off the fence before it came down, but I just felt so bad for the poor little things! Oink oink.
The sickness! The latest is basically this…if you get the flu, you’re going to die and come back a walker! There’s a bug going around the prison, and it isn’t looking good. I’m excited to see what happens.
Also, where the heck is the Governor? I can’t stand him, but I want to know what he’s up to! Hmm. And Eddie the zombie in the sack. I still wanna see that, even though I’m sure it’ll make me want to throw up.
Happy Zombie Dreams!
